To be considered a serious candidate, you will need to have at least 3 A-levels under your belt and a strong GSCE background. As it can be very competitive,  you will have better luck if you are scoring in the A and A* brackets.

University of Bath

Universities in a city are always favoured by employees and always deliver high-quality education to their students. If you value the countryside and want to study in a place where you can appreciate its natural beauty but have that dabble into student life, then bath should be on your list. The application process is very similar across all the universities in the UK and is usually done through UCAS, although it’s worth checking their official website in case they prefer anything extra. UOB can be pretty selective with their candidates and only accept up to 20% of those who apply each year. So making sure your application stands out and you have above the required grades for your finance and accounting course is key.

University of Manchester

Another great city location but less intimidating than London; some even go as far as saying it’s a miniature London. They offer great nightlife, friendly people and a tad of rain. Their acceptance rate is just below 60%, which is pretty high for a top university. This might be because alot of people tend to apply to this university and there are a lot of qualified applicants and a range of courses, from fashion to accounting.  Although they do require at least an ABB for some courses, as it’s competitive, aiming for the best grades is always the safest option.

University of Glasgow

One of the richest histories when it comes to remarkable universities within the United Kingdom. Its story began all the way back in 1451 and has been part of making dreams come true ever since. They are part of the Russell Group, which is essentially a group of universities that focus on world-class research and provide the best education to each and every student who walks through their halls.

Last but not least, she is also a fan of applicants through UCAS. This university does have a list of requirements for you to be considered for acceptance. Out of 45,000 applications, only 6,500 students have a pretty low acceptance rate. To apply, you will need to make sure you have all of the following:

  2. Academic score of 70% plus.
  3. English language proficiency.
  4. GMAT score of 600.
